Beneficiaries: We address systemic and widespread issues that affect migrant workers. We work together with migrant workers in the Gulf Countries. Led by the community, our projects are tackling modern slavery and the effects of systemic issues by empowering those most vulnerable, providing remedy and harnessing data. Volunteer history: Family members and 2021 SOSA winners Sari Heidrich and Layla Murphy voluneered remotely with DO Bold. They helped design, distribute and collect responses to surveys, which included taking dozens of oral responses for illiterate individuals. Also supported the organization in networking and partnership building by making connections with key individuals and organizations to assist in fundraising, research, translation, and technical support. Also contributed to this project through social media strategy and design, and storytelling. **Sari and Layla worked with projects in Oman while living elsewhere in the region **Remote Volunteering **SOSA= AAFSW's Secretary of State Award for Outstanding Volunteerism Abroad.
